Natalie & Gary chose to celebrate their nuptials with a stunning wedding at the Olympic Rooftop Pavilion in Ballard this past summer. Surrounded by their closest friends and family, most of whom flew in from the East Coast, these two had such a beautiful celebration! Since Olympic Rooftop Pavilion is located at the top of Hotel Ballard, we started off the morning with getting ready photos in the suites up top, located a few steps away from the event space. After Natalie and Gary had their first look surrounded by the beautiful vines growing around the venue, we hopped into an uber and drove over to their house to be able to capture some portraits with their kitties who weren’t able to be in attendance at the wedding.
Once we got back from snuggling with the kitties, it was time for some wedding party portraits and detail photos of the gorgeous ceremony space! Just look at all those florals by Pollen In Love!! WOWOWOWOW. Such a stunning walkway for the ceremony and the framing of the florals was to die for!
Once vows were exchanged and Natalie and Gary said “I do!”, plus we finished all the family photos, we headed down to the streets of Ballard for some larger wedding party photos while the rest of the guests enjoyed cocktail hour in the lobby of Hotel Ballard while the room was flipped for the reception! As you can see, we had way too much fun running around the streets below and a kind stranger even allowed us to take some photos in their classic car! Talk about lucky!!!
The details for this reception were absolutely to die for – just look at all the pinks and golds – especially with the light of the sunset coming down! Some of my favorites! Audra from Lovely Events did such an amazing job helping Natalie’s vision for this wedding come to life. If you do decide to get married at Olympic Rooftop Pavilion – I highly, highly, suggest taking a few moments to take some portraits on the rooftop, especially as the sun sets over the Olympic mountains in the distance. So damn dreamy and one of the best perks of getting married above the streets of Ballard!
Would I recommend getting married at Olympic Rooftop Pavilion? HECK YES!!! The food catered by Stoneburner – their in house caterer and restaurant downstairs – was some of the best food I have ever been served at a wedding! 10000/10 would highly recommend for the foodies like me! It’s such a lovely and unique spot in Ballard with unbelievable views and the most delicious food! Take a peek below and I hope you enjoy! 🙂
